Job Title: Management Accountant Location: Cambridge
I have exclusively partnered with a growing manufacturing organisation that is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to be based at their successful Cambridge site.This role will report directly to the Financial Controller and offers an excellent development opportunity for a driven Assistant Accountant or Management Accountant who is eager to grow, learn, and continue with their professional studies.
Key Responsibilities: * Assist with month-end preparation and close* Prepare weekly and monthly board packs* Post journals and provide detailed variance analysis* Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes* Prepare costing reports, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and post month-end journals* Manage costings, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations* Business partner across the wider organisation to support financial decision-making
Qualifications and Skills: * AAT qualified or currently studying ACCA/CIMA* Experience within an SME environment is desirable* Self-motivated with strong business partnering skills* A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop* Strong Excel skills and confidence in data manipulation
