Management Accountant (Part-Time)

Enterprise Control Systems (part of the SPX group) is seeking a skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. We are offering flexibility around how the 16 hours per week are delivered, with the option for hybrid working once you are established in the role.

This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of the general ledger and month-end process in a dynamic, project-based environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Take control of general ledger accounting and month-end journal entries

* Prepare accounts and complete month-end reporting

* Support financial reporting and analysis to aid planning and decision-making

* Ensure robust control of general ledger activity and account reconciliations

* Provide support on forecasting and budgeting

* Prepare statutory accounts and tax returns as required

* Assist with audit processes and compliance procedures

* Participate in ongoing improvement of finance policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For

* Experienced and confident in delivering core management accounting tasks

* Qualified by experience or part-qualified or qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)

* Strong understanding of accounting principles

* Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

* ERP experience (e.g. SAP, IFS) highly desirable

* Previous experience in a manufacturing or project-based business is an advantage
