Management Accountant (Part-Qualified or Qualified) - Manufacturing
Based in Flint | Weekly travel to Wigan (pool car provided)
Up to £50,000 + Benefits
Monday to Friday
Hybrid: 3 days in the office (Wed & Thurs fixed) after probation
We’re looking for a curious, energetic Management Accountant with solid manufacturing experience - ideally from a food/FMCG environment - who’s as comfortable on the factory floor as they are with a spreadsheet.
What you’ll be doing:
Weekly travel to the Wigan site - talking to ops, understanding how things run
Ownership of key financial analysis, reporting and forecasting
Work closely with the Finance Business Partner and Manufacturing Controller on month-end, budgeting, and ad hoc projects
Power BI reporting and costing analysis (rejects, labour, overheads, etc.)
Involved in audit prep, lease management, PRN, fixed assets and plastic tax compliance
Who we’re looking for:
Must come from a manufacturing background - food/FMCG is ideal
Part-qualified or newly qualified (CIMA preferred - ideally at case study stage or ¾ through)
Naturally curious and excited by how things are made - not just a bookkeeper
