Maintenance Technician

Kenect Recruitment are looking for a Maintenance Technician for our client in Aston!

Job Role: The Maintenance Technician will routinely perform preventative maintenance and repair all aspects of our equipment used in the process. They must be able to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective operations of all production equipment fixtures used by the organisation.

Holiday: All Accrued.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 12pm
Salary: £15.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform light grounds keeping work as needed
• Troubleshoot basic plumbing issues
• Diagnose, repair and test malfunctioning equipment and machinery. May replace faulty electrical, mechanical and hydraulic and pneumatic components

Experience / Requirements:

• Working knowledge of power tools, common appliances and devices
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Requirements
• FLT Licence
• Driving Licence
• Mechanical Engineering (basic)
• Electrical Engineering

Desirable but not essential:

• Knowledge of maintenance of printing equipment (D-gen Printers)
• Zund maintenance & troubleshooting Training.
• Industrial sewing machines or mechanical knowledge
