Maintenance Supervisor - Belfast
Maintenance Supervisor opportunity with our client in the food sector, overseeing the daily running of maintenance and engineering across the site.
Excellent opportunity for a Lead Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor to play a key role in managing a small team, ensuring performance and minimal downtime of machinery and equipment.
Monday to Friday 7am - 3.30pm and on call with extra earnings, employer pension, health plan , 28 days annual leave
Job Role:
Leading, managing, and motivating a team of engineers
Overseeing performance management, staff development, and succession planning.
Driving continuous improvement through the implementation of monitoring and control systems for plant and machinery.
Developing and managing a structured preventative maintenance system, scheduling and executing preventative maintenance
Organise critical spare parts and stock
Coordinating day-to-day maintenance and facility repairs
Managing a complete list of site assets and equipment
Ensuring compliance with BRC and customer food quality standards
Maintaining equipment to safe standards and ensuring legal compliance.
Supporting the development of departmental goals and action plans to meet business targets.
What We Are Looking For:
Proven experience in a similar supervisory or senior maintenance role
Engineering qualification or a time-served apprenticeship
Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide and support shift engineers
Proven experience in implementing and managing preventative maintenance and TPM systems
Experience enhancing health and safety standards and promoting best practices
Excellent knowledge mechanical and electrical engineering
