Job Description Your new company \nYou will be working for a manufacturing company located near West End, Southampton so a car driver would be required to get to the site. The role has a temp to perm opportunity, paying £36-38k. \n\nYour new role \nYou will oversee the maintenance of the building and ensure it meets all regulatory requirements.\nThis would include\n\nInspecting a building and its operations to determine vital services, repairs and maintenance.\nConducting hands-on repairs (when you are able to) of the building and machinery and utilising outside contractors when not.\nManaging building and system emergencies as they arise\nSourcing contractors and suppliers for repairs, maintenance, cleaning, renovations, waste disposal, water management etc.\nDeveloping building plans outlining strategies for improving efficiency and reducing costs and forecasting the facility's future needs\nWriting maintenance reports\nEnsuring compliance with all safety and security protocolsWhat you'll need to succeed \nYou will be an experienced Maintenance / FM manager who is comfortable with both hands-on maintenance when possible but also ensuring all paperwork, procedures and management of contractors meets the expected quality.
