Our client is one of the largest manufacturers in the UK, they are looking for Maintenance Fitters (Mechanical & Electrical) to join their team.
* Diagnose and fix problems with manufacturing machines and mechanical parts.
* Work with machine operatives for machine set ups and change over.
* Complete daily, weekly, monthly and yearly machine servicing.
* Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
* Test and inspect electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures to ensure compatibility and safety of systems (Electrical Maintenance Fitter).
* Ensure work is carried out to the highest standard and in the interest of the company.
* Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies including Health & Safety are complied with.
* Observe and comply with all good working practices.
Essential Criteria
* Appropriate City & Guilds and/or NVQ3 Qualification (Essential for Electrical).
* Adept at using Microsoft Word and Excel packages.
* Methodical approach to solving queries.
* Good time management skills.
* Ability to work on own initiative, but understand level of responsibility within the team.
* Ability to prioritise work and manage a number of tasks concurrently.
* Possess a valid driving license.
