Maintenance Engineering Trainer - Inspiring the Next Generation

Location: Bodmin

Salary: £31,000 - £35,000

Incredible Benefits: 54 days holiday + Outstanding pension scheme + Full training provided + No shifts or weekend work

Are you an experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer from an FMCG background? Are you ready to step away from the tools and into a role where you can enjoy a fantastic work-life balance, while shaping the future of the engineering workforce?

This is a unique opportunity to join a well-respected and forward-thinking training provider as a Maintenance Engineering Trainer. You'll use your industry expertise to support, assess, and mentor apprentices working towards BTEC qualifications, both in the classroom and on-site. Full training will be provided - you just need the passion and practical experience to guide the next generation.

What you'll be doing:

Delivering engaging training sessions on electrical and mechanical maintenance principles

Assessing learners in the workplace and helping them develop real-world skills

Liaising with employers to ensure apprentices are gaining the right experience

Supporting the ongoing development of training programmes and qualifications
What we're looking for:

A strong background as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer

Experience working in an FMCG or similar high-paced industrial environment

A desire to move into training and mentoring (no teaching experience necessary - full support given)
Why this role?

No shifts, no weekends - reclaim your evenings and weekends

Generous annual leave - 54 days off per year to enjoy life outside work

Outstanding pension - secure your future with one of the best pension schemes in the sector

Feel-good factor - make a real difference in the lives of young people and help shape the future of the industry
Whether you're already supporting others on the shop floor or simply ready for a new challenge, this is a brilliant step into education without sacrificing your salary or seniority
