Our client requires a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in the Sleaford area. This client is a manufacturer of composite materials and wants an engineer who is similar with this industry
This role entails working within a team of multi-skilled engineers and ensure that the industrial machines and equipment runs smoothly and are reliable. You will be going along to breakdowns and carrying out planned and preventative maintenance work on various production machinery. You will also be needed to help build some of the machinery, when required.
Duties
Work in accordance with HSE policies
Safe installation of equipment and upkeep of all main production and auxiliary machines.
Effective electrical and mechanical fault finding by getting to the root cause, identifying the problem and applying preventative solutions, making sure all equipment is safe before handing it back to the production team.
Ensure spares are on hand at all times for machinery and equipment.
Skills
Ability to work within a team and on your own
Good communicator
Maintenance experience on a range of production machinery.
Fault finding abilities (electrical/ mechanical)
Experience of installation of new line machinery.
Knowledge of inverter drives
Experience/ Qualifications
City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical engineering
18th edition wiring regulations
Minimum of 5 years in a similar role in the production manufacturing industry.
Hours of work are Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm
Your salary will be between £35,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)
