A well-established and growing FMCG manufacturing business in the Snaith / Eggborough area is looking to add a skilled Maintenance Engineer to their day shift team. The business is currently going through an exciting period of growth, investment, and expansion — making it a great time to join.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be working Monday to Friday (days) across a busy production site, ensuring machinery and equipment are kept running efficiently. You’ll be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance tasks, supporting site performance, and helping to drive continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on a variety of production machinery
* Carry out both PPM and reactive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime
* Fault-finding and troubleshooting equipment issues in a fast-paced FMCG environment
* Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in line with site procedures
About you:
* Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or FMCG setting
* Electrically or mechanically biased – multi-skilled preferred
* Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
* Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
