Job Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: £40,000-£43,000 DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 17:30 + Overtime @ 1.5x
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Package:
Base salary between £40,000-£43,000, dependent on experience
Onsite parking
Commitment to ongoing training and development
Pension scheme (3% employer, 5% employee)
24 days annual leave + bank holidays
Life assurance scheme
Responsibilities:
Electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification on production machinery
Conducting planned and preventative maintenance
Adhering to health and safety policies and procedures
Collaborating with the engineering manager to ensure smooth plant production
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a maintenance engineer in a food manufacturing, cold storage, or manufacturing environment
Relevant certifications (NVQ/City & Guilds)
Multiskilled engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
