Career Progression – This company is a £1 billion turnover manufacturing industry leader, with 18 sites across the country. This means that lots of leadership positions and other specialist positions with different types of shift patterns and working hours are in play across all of the sites which you are able to grow into, and you will be actively supported by management towards achieving this. These include: Team Leaders, Supervisors, Managers, CI Engineers, Project Engineers, Site Services and much more. There are many examples of progression within this company, including a Night Shift Engineer who progressed to Engineering Manager of that same site.

Training and Development – When joining this company with lots of technical machinery, your skillset is assessed, and skill gaps are not seen as weaknesses but instead used to build a skills matrix and development plan. You will have the opportunities for lots of internal and external training, being put through courses, with engineers even being supported through completing their HNC. Sharing knowledge between team members is also encouraged, meaning that whether you are at the back end of your career or just finishing an apprenticeship there will be lots to learn and support throughout.

The Role:

Maintain and repair electrical components like sensors, motors, and relays.
Handle mechanical parts, including belts, bearings, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Conduct PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and react swiftly to breakdowns.
Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding.

What We’re Looking For:

A team player with electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a Level 3 engineering qualification.
Ready to embrace the role and excel as part of an experienced team.
