Tired of working shifts or being on call all the time? This is a solid days-based Maintenance Engineer role with no nights, no silly hours — just a well-run site that values its engineers.
A well-established manufacturer in Bingley is now looking to add a Maintenance Engineer to their team. With modern kit, a growing order book, and a leadership team that actually listens, it’s a great time to join.
What you’ll be doing as a Maintenance Engineer:

* PPM and TPM routines to keep machinery running efficiently
* Identifying root causes of breakdowns and fixing them properly
* Logging maintenance work and keeping records up to date
* Suggesting improvements to reduce downtime and spare parts usage
* Coaching and supporting machine operators on basic upkeep
What we’re looking for in a Maintenance Engineer:
* Experience in a manufacturing maintenance role
* Strong mechanical knowledge – hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, etc.
* Electrical skills are welcome, but a mechanical bias would suit this best
* Able to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks
* Good communicator who works well across teams
* Someone proactive, hands-on, and eager to make a difference
