I’m working with a well-established food manufacturing business that’s looking to add a Shift engineer to their engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer to work in a modern, fast-paced environment where engineering plays a key role in business success.

You’ll be responsible for both reactive and preventative maintenance across a variety of food processing equipment including filling machines, spiral freezers, pumps, steam kettles, metal detectors, and depositors. This role is a true 50/50 split between mechanical and electrical work.

  • Supporting production teams to minimise downtime and maximise machine availability

  • Logging maintenance activity through the site’s CMMS (Shires)

  • Coaching and supporting operators and junior engineers
