Ten Live Group: Maintenance Engineer Position
Ten Live Group is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer on behalf of our Client, an Industry Leader in the home goods sector, renowned for their commitment to excellence, innovation, and cutting-edge automation technology.
The Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, fixing, and maximizing the performance of the plant & machinery. The working hours for the role will be on a Panama Shift pattern rotating every 2 weeks:
6am - 6pm
2.30pm - 2.30am
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting effective fault finding, diagnosis, analysis, and implementing swift corrective measures.
Updating and maintaining the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Compliance standards.
Managing both direct and third-party contractors on site.
Providing support and training to semi-skilled Operators & Apprentices to foster their engineering careers.
Ensuring Health and Safety compliance is maintained.
Ensuring maximum uptime of plant and equipment.
Responsible for the electrical and mechanical equipment on site.
Ensuring all preventative maintenance is carried out in specified time.
Ensuring regulatory compliance regarding facilities maintenance.
Complying with COSHH, RAMS, PTW processes.
About You: Essential Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
BTEC/HNC and NVQ level 3 or higher City & Guilds 2382 18th edition.
Experience in fault-finding electromechanical equipment.
Excellent written and PC skills (Microsoft Office/BMS/maintenance engineering software).
Experience coaching and mentoring junior members.
Experience with automated equipment (conveyors, sorters, etc).
Facilities experience (lighting, sprinklers, etc).
Highly desirable H&S qualification (e.g., IOSH).
Experience with PLC controls, programming, or familiarity with Allen Bradley equipment would be advantageous.
