Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer – Days - Flexible Start/Finish Time

 

Location: Haverhill
Salary: £46,000-£50,000
Shifts: Days 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts, 5.30am-5.30pm - flexibility with start and finish times
Sector: FMCG / Food Production

I am seeking a proactive Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer looking to work with a fast-paced FMCG manufacturer within the food sector.  The Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer will join a leading production site, supporting essential operations and ensuring equipment runs efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs on production machinery
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding and diagnostics (input and outputs module fault finding)
  • Supporting continuous improvement and root cause analysis
  • Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency
  • Maintaining accurate records through CMMS systems
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and food safety regulations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer in an FMCG or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical maintenance
  • Familiarity with conveyors, slicers, multi vac,  and PLCs (fault finding) as well as ovens, blast chillers, metal detectors
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement
  • A flexible team player with a can-do attitude and willing to learn
