Location: Remote with adhoc visits to UK sites

Role details:

Our client, a leading Defence & Security company, are looking for a skilled M365 Data Migration Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves assisting with the migration of data from Network Drives to One-Drive and SharePoint Online. The position is remote but requires the flexibility to travel to any UK Leonardo site as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead data migration projects from Network Drives to One-Drive and SharePoint Online
Utilise migration tools, particularly Sharegate, to transfer data efficiently
Ensure the smooth transfer of data for over 5,000 users
Collaborate with IT and project management teams to meet migration objectives
Provide troubleshooting and support during the migration process
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and users throughout the migration
Document migration processes and outcomes for future reference
Be available for weekend and evening work as required to minimise disruption

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in M365 data migration, especially for enterprise-level environments
Hands-on experience migrating network drive data to OneDrive for Business for 5,000+ users
Strong expertise with migration tools, ideally ShareGate
Comfortable working outside of standard business hours (evenings/weekends) to support migration windows
Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills

Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.
