Job Description An exciting role has opened with a rapidly growing proprietary trading firm who are looking for their first Low Latency Linux Engineer in London. As the firm transitions into more high frequency strategies, there is a need for an experienced Linux Engineer to come in and build the infrastructure platforms for new co-locations and create new deployment mechanisms for software teams, crucial for the company's expansion.
You will be working in a small, lean team that sits very close to the investment team and being a relatively new firm there will be a chance to work with cutting edge technologies and alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of experience building Low Latency Linux platforms (Debian and RHEL preferred)
Strong scripting and automation skills (Python and Ansible preferred)
Expert performance analysis and kernel tuning skills in regarding to Low Latency systems
