Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Ripon
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
About the Business
We are proud to be partnering with a rapidly growing business based in Ripon, operating in the agriculture and FMCG sectors. The company handles a wide range of products across animal feed and human food categories and is known for its fast-paced and evolving environment.
As the team expands, they’re now looking to appoint a Logistics Coordinator who can help manage day-to-day logistics activity and support the development of scalable systems and processes.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a hands-on position suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic setting and is comfortable coordinating a variety of logistics functions. The role offers scope for future growth as the department develops.
Key Responsibilities
*
coordinating bulk and bagged deliveries (including import and export)
*
Communicating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams regarding collections, deliveries, and movements
*
Monitoring and reconciling stock levels across multiple locations
*
Assisting with the management of contractual terms in purchase and sales agreements
*
Supporting logistics trade accreditations and ensuring compliance
*
Processing logistics invoices accurately and in a timely manner
*
Producing logistics reports to aid performance tracking and process improvement
*
Contributing to the optimisation of systems and logistics workflows
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a logistics or stock control role
*
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination
*
Proficiency in Excel and logistics/supply chain systems
*
A solutions-focused approach with the ability to improve processes
*
Willingness to be hands-on and adaptable in a growing team
