A client of ours in the Debenham, Suffolk area are recruiting a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm and paying from £24,000 per annum depending on experience.
Assisting with all UK Export shipments, other key duties include but are not limited to:
Monitoring Logistics and inbox
Generating pack lists and commercial invoices to send to customers and freight forwarders
Handling incoming and outgoing calls
Requesting Freight quotes for quotations & live orders
Organising collections of export orders
Giving customers delivery updates
Weekly and monthly reports to customers where required
Overseeing container collections as and when required
Arranging collection of courier shipments and booking with couriers
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Logistics Coordinator position:
2+ years experience within Transport, Logistics distribution and Supply chain.
Experience in using Sage 200 is desirable
GCSE grade C (4) or above in Maths and English Language
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Excellent communication skills
Highly organised
