Job Description Our international client requires an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their team for a 6 to 8-month contract
Role:
Reporting to the Supply and Customer Service Section Manager, this role has full accountability to optimise the efficiency of the front and back end logistical operations of the Company Vehicle Operations (CVO) business. The Logistics Co-ordinator is responsible for registering, delivering, and defleeting vehicles used by their Group of Companies in the UK. The role will contribute to continuously improving processes to further develop the department's efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
Continually challenge and propose processes to minimise vehicle downtime and therefore costs.
Key relationship holder with Logistical partners. Control, measure, and report on the quality of service from logistical partners.
Manage all vehicle handovers across all locations, ensuring a just-in-time philosophy is planned and accurately delivered on time.
Support with the production of sales forecast weekly, working in conjunction with the Customer Service Manager and Supply and Customer Service Section Manager.
Responsible for monitoring monthly registration targets.
