Locum Consultant Adult Psychiatry

We have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult to work within an NHS service in Cardiff.

Job Description:

This role is a full-time Locum position based in Cardiff. You will be working in an inpatient Adult service for patients with mental illness.

Key responsibilities:

* Lead an MDT of Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, OT and Specialty Dr’s

* Active role in service and development activities

* Participate in Governance and Service Line meetings

* Taking clinical responsibility for patients

* Fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician

* Supervising the process of referrals and admissions

* Take part in medical related audits.

Job Requirements:

* GMC with a licence to practise

* Approved Clinician status

* Section 12 approval

* MBBS qualification
