International boutique litigation law firm, offering a highly competitive/generous salary, is looking to recruit a new Litigation Paralegal. This firm offers fantastic work quality as there are no Trainees as of yet in the London office.
Our client is seeking to hire a Commercial Litigation/Disputes/International Arbitration Paralegal who will work directly with the Partners and Associates in various types of litigation, arbitration and investigation work for upcoming, pending and potential cases so previous experience across these practice areas, ideally from a leading London based law firm.
Litigation Paralegal responsibilities will include:
Providing assistance in the preparation of legal documents; research and compilation of data from various legal references as well as the maintenance of case files.
Gathering, organising, summarising and indexing documents/chronologies for cases which are fact/document heavy
Drafting correspondence, disclosure requests and responses and other related documents as well as preparing and maintaining documents and bundles to be used at hearings and proceedings (hard copies and soft copy PDFs, including pagination)
Liaising directly with clients and third parties and making regular trips to court to file documents, taking notes of hearings and tracking cases on Bloomberg Law/in the media to update the team
Litigation Paralegal applicants are required to have a law degree; 2.1 or above desirable; 2.2 acceptable, or similar qualification if equivalent standing, having the GDL (if original degree is not in a legal discipline) and LPC essential and a minimum 3 A ‘level grades A-C, or similar qualification of equivalent standing. Previous litigation/disputes paralegal experience is essential, with at least 12 months at law firm. Applicants need to have a strong technical skills in all Microsoft Office and Internet applications. Excellent employee benefits and overtime is available, standard hours are 9am to 5:30pm with hybrid working in place.
