Working Hours: Monday-Thursday. 12 Hour Shift. Days and Nights.

Salary: 12.13 an hour

Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Line Leader to join our well-established client based in the Cardiff Area area.

This role presents a unique chance to become a part of a dedicated team within a well-established Manaufacturing company.

Job Description:

• To oversee the day-to-day activities of the respective Team, ensuring effective use of people to ensure that daily output/plan is achieved.
• To ensure that housekeeping, Quality and Health Safety are "Best in Class".
• Undertake general duties of loading/unloading and inspection of components in an effective manner and ensure they have been manufactured to agreed standards.
• The role is key to ensuring budgeted levels of profitability are exceeded

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the running of the respective operation to ensure 100% achievement.
• Plan to ensure that day-to-day schedules are achieved.
• Complete in full, any paperwork/screen input that is required.
• Ensure all rejects are recorded and reported.
• Continually review the quality of products produced ensuring they are to the standards required.
• Ensure personnel are working safely and report all accidents immediately.
• Continually review activities to drive improvements.
• Ensure that housekeeping is maintained to "Best in Class" levels.

Requirements:

• Attention to detail.
• To be a reliable person with good time-keeping skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Able to work as part of a Team.
• Confident working with a computer.
• Have a basic level of fitness as lifting/moving of large components will be required.
