Job Description Resident Lift Engineer - London Gatwick *\n\n* This is a Nights Role**\n\nRole Overview\n\nWould you like to join a truly international, talent driven company that values Safety, Ethics, Quality, Innovation and Employee Opportunity?\n\nOtis is growing and is looking for a maintenance mechanic for one of our entities located in Gatwick.\n\nYour priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator units\n\nOn a typical day you will:\n\n * Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory\n\n * Work within your defined geographical area / territory, managing the portfolio of elevators within it\n\n * Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix\n\n * Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation\n\n * Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship\n\nWhat you will need to be successful\n\n * Hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in Lift service or repairs.\n\n * Hold a drivers license\n\n * You have at least 3 years of experience in the elevator sector\n\n * You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering\n\n * You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority\n\n * You are comfortable communicating to others\n\n * You are curious, adaptable,...
