Legal Secretary

My client a well established Law Firm in Leeds are looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to join their Commercial & Property Litigation, Construction and Regulatory team.
Main Duties:
- Typing of correspondence and documents - producing/amending/formatting
- Filing/scanning/printing
- Document collation/preparation of legal bundles
- Raising/paying invoices
- Receive incoming telephone calls and deal with queries or take messages as appropriate
- Arrange meetings and travel for fee earners as required
- Prepare monthly bills and billing reports for clients
- Maintain an accurate and up to date filing system
- File closing in preparation for archiving
- Undertaking searches, anti-money laundering and conflict checks
- Undertake ad-hoc projects alongside day-to-day tasks
- Support wider secretarial group with covering team absence
- Participating in reception cover as required
- Prioritise own workload and ensure that personal objectives are reviewed and met
Skills Required:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary/legal administrator
- Experience with case management systems
- Experience supporting a related litigation team
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
- Numerate
- Prioritisation and organisational skills
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Able to work to deadlines
