Legal Assistant – Graduate Opportunity

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £25,000 p/a

The Role

As a Legal Assistant, you’ll work closely with the Contracts Director to support the day-to-day running of legal and contractual matters. This is an ideal role for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and proofreading legal documents and contracts
Managing and maintaining both digital and physical legal files
Assisting with litigation and regulatory documentation
Liaising with internal teams to support contract processes
Tracking contract progress and meeting critical deadlines
Supporting invoice and expense processing for the department
Conducting basic legal research
Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with legal standards
What We’re Looking For:

A recent or upcoming graduate (LLB or equivalent in experience)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organisation
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Interest in working within a legal or contracts function
