Learning Support Assistant - Haywards Heath We are looking for a committed and empathetic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a well-regarded Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Haywards Heath. This is a rewarding opportunity to positively impact the lives of children and young people with diverse and complex learning needs in a nurturing and inclusive setting.
Key Responsibilities Provide individual and small group support to students with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SLD, PMLD, and communication challenges.

Work alongside the class teacher to deliver differentiated learning activities, adapting materials and approaches to suit varying abilities and learning styles.

Support the planning and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in close collaboration with the SENCO and support staff.

Create and maintain an inclusive, encouraging learning environment that fosters confidence, independence, and active student engagement.

Apply effective strategies for behaviour support and academic differentiation to promote both educational progress and emotional wellbeing.

Assist with personal care and mobility as needed, ensuring all students are treated with respect, dignity, and compassion.
