Salary: £90 - £110 PD

We are seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants for full-time, long-term positions in the Ealing area. This role involves working with children and young people who may struggle with forming relationships and engaging in educational settings. Some students may exhibit challenging behaviours due to anxiety or difficulties understanding their environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of pupils' individual learning and behaviour plans.
• Build strong relationships with students, acting as a positive role model and responding to their unique needs.
• Encourage inclusion and help students interact and participate in classroom activities.
• Set high expectations to foster self-esteem and independent learning.
• Provide students with constructive feedback on their progress and achievements.
• Assist with physical support, including helping students walk, pushing wheelchairs, and manual handling.
• Support students with personal care needs.
• Assist students in swimming and hydrotherapy sessions.

Ideal Candidate:

• Reliable, enthusiastic, and proactive.
• Friendly and approachable, able to engage well with children and adults.
• Flexible and willing to learn.
• Committed to maintaining high standards and contributing to school improvement.
• Punctual with excellent attendance.
• Holds a valid Team Teach certificate or is willing to undergo training.
• Holds a current child and adult DBS or is prepared to obtain one.
