Role Overview:

As a Learning Support Assistant (SEN Teaching Assistant), you will play a vital role in supporting children with diverse needs, both in and outside the classroom. Your focus will be on helping students reach their full potential by providing tailored assistance and guidance. This role is rewarding and impactful, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in a child's educational journey.

Position: Learning Support Assistant (SEN TA)

Location: Plymouth

Pay Rate: £90-95 per day

Job Type: Full time, Long term

Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist the class teacher in delivering effective lessons
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Provide individual support to facilitate student learning
  • Monitor student progress and report the findings to the teacher and parents.
  • Adhere to the school's policies and procedures.

Ideal Candidate:


  • Have genuine passion for education and child development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset
  • SEN teaching experience or child care experience for at least 6 months
  • Driving on own to the school is an advantage
  • Proven professional references with clean records
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can help with this if you don't have one) and eligibility to work in the UK.
