Job DescriptionLondon based Law firm are hiring a Learning & Development Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract. The L&D Manager will be responsible for design, development and delivery of the full scope of learning and development across the firm.Day to Day responsibilities:Conduct Learning needs analyses to identify skills gapsManage junior team members and ensure coverage within the teamDevelop the teams expertiseEnhance the Learning offering and design learning as requiredPut together budget requests and present to Senior ManagersDevelop delivery strategiesSource and manage vendor contractsInnovate L&D approaches by leveraging industry best practicesLead and program manage L&D eventsAct as a strategic business partner supporting specialist functionsDesired Skills & Experience:Experience working in an L&D Manager role ideally within a law firm or partnership environmentExperience managing and developing other L&D professionalsExperience identifying learning needsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalStrong internal stakeholder management skillsExperience designing and delivering learning solutionsExperience delivering DEI friendly inclusive programmesExcellent communication skills both written and verbalStrong instructional design skillsStrong facilitation and presentation skills, in person and virtualExcellent stakeholder management and relationship building skillsIntermediate to advanced Microsoft office skills - specifically Excel and PowerPointThis is a 12 month fixed term contract. We will consider candidates who are on a maximum of 1 month notice and can wait up to 4 weeks for someone finishing a contract.This role is based in London with a requirement to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.This is a full time, 5 days a week role.
