Job Description Lead Magento Developer
£65k–£75k (DOE)
1-2 days a week in Manchester (NQ)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Magento Developer to join an internationally recognised digital agency! With nearly £30 million in new investment and ambitious plans to expand into new markets, there’s plenty of room for growth and progression.
As the Lead Magento Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in building bespoke commerce platforms, primarily using Adobe and Magento. You’ll work closely with both internal and external stakeholders on long-term projects—translating requirements, leading from the front, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver digital solutions to customers.
What will you be working on?
Defining the architectural direction of key projects and ensuring technical alignment with business goals
Leading a squad of three other developers to build headless commerce solutions using PHP, Adobe Commerce and Magento. (They are looking at diversifying into Shopify and BigCommerce but the bulk of work will be Magento focused for this squad)
Supporting and mentoring your team, setting coding standards, and shaping system architecture
