Wide Format Printer – Signage & Graphics
Glasgow Full-Time, Permanent Up to £16 per hour (DOE)

We’re working with a well-established signage company in Glasgow that’s looking to expand their production team with an experienced Wide Format Printer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in signage or large-format print production who takes pride in delivering high-quality, eye-catching work.

The Role

This hands-on role covers all aspects of large-format print production, from prepping artwork and operating print equipment to trimming, laminating, and finishing. You’ll be a key part of the production process, ensuring everything runs smoothly and to deadline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate wide-format digital printers to produce signage and graphics

  • Prepare and check artwork for print readiness (resolution, bleed, layout, colour profile)

  • Prioritise jobs, manage print queues, and meet daily deadlines

  • Monitor print quality and troubleshoot as needed

  • Assist with vinyl weeding, trimming, laminating, and mounting to substrates

  • Maintain print equipment and keep the workspace clean and organised

  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure smooth workflow

  • Ensure accurate stock use and help maintain inventory levels

  • Follow all health and safety procedures on site

What You’ll Need
  • Experience operating wide-format printers (e.g. Roland, Mimaki, HP Latex, etc.)

  • Knowledge of RIP software like Onyx or VersaWorks

  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop (advantageous)

  • Attention to detail and strong understanding of colour accuracy

  • Ability to handle physical tasks and large materials safely

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed

  • Previous signage industry experience highly preferred
