We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our client’s dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting our installation projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The company are a trusted provider of premium home enhancement services across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire. Specialising in high-quality windows, doors, conservatories, extensions, roofline solutions. With over 10 years of experience and a portfolio of satisfied customers, they pride themselves on building up to a very high standard. The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically fit, and eager to contribute to the success of their projects.
As the Labourer you will be:
* Site Preparation: Assist in setting up and clearing construction sites, ensuring all equipment is handled safely and effectively.
* Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from work areas.
* Assisting Skilled Trades: Support tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and installers in their tasks.
* Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain tools and machinery, including drills, jackhammers, and other power tools, under guidance.
* Site Clean-Up: Remove debris and rubbish from construction sites, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
* Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
As the Labourer you will have:
* Experience: Previous experience in a construction or labouring role is preferred but not essential.
* Skills: Ability to operate basic construction tools and machinery safely.
* Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift heavy loads and perform strenuous physical tasks.
* Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Reliability: Punctual and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
* Safety Awareness: Understanding of health and safety regulations in a construction environment.
