Lab Technician

A great opportunity for junior Food Industry candidates, looking to progress their career with a well established, family run business with decades of success.

As a Lab Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring all Quality Testing is completed effectively and to the highest standards, supporting the overall technical department.

Responsibilities:

* Collecting and testing samples prior to release to establish quality

* Raising any non-conformance and liaising with Technical Manager to implement corrective actions

* Ensure accurate reccording of all data including test results, stock management and incoming raw materials.

* Assist in internal and external audits, and carry out daily GMP audits and regular quality assurance checks.

The successful candidate will:

* Have an understanding of HACCP principals and Food Safety systems.

* Have experience in a similar role within the industry

* Be a confident and personable character, with strong communication skills.

* Have a full UK Drivers License and own a car
