Hours: Full-time, term-time only
About the Role:
As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils aged 5–7 in their learning and development. You’ll work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with the delivery of the KS1 curriculum
Supporting children with varying needs to reach their full potential
Preparing resources and setting up classroom activities
Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting a love of learning
Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and parents where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children in a school or early years setting
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent)
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic nature
Strong communication and organisational skills
A genuine interest in helping children thrive
