Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA)
Are you an enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in early primary education? Teach Now is recruiting a passionate Key Stage 1 TA to support boosters and intervention groups at a thriving, inclusive school in Newham.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated teaching team where your contribution will directly impact pupil progress, confidence, and enjoyment of learning. You’ll work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver targeted support, ensuring all children—especially those who need a little extra help—are given every opportunity to succeed.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver booster sessions and targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy
• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, adapting strategies to meet individual needs
• Assist in classroom activities and behaviour management
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor and report on pupil progress
• Create an encouraging, safe, and stimulating environment for all learners
Who We're Looking For:
• Experience working in KS1 within a school or similar setting
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and phonics strategies
• Confident, patient, and nurturing approach to learning support
• Passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
• SEN experience is a bonus, particularly with speech, language, or behaviour support
