Key Account Manager - North East and Scotland Region

We are looking for a Key Account Manager who will be responsible for the sales management and growth of the North East and Scotland region for a market-leading manufacturer.

Growing Gross Profit (GP)
Managing/Retaining Current Business
Increasing Buying Customer Numbers
Meeting Overall Volume Growth Targets
Achieving Supplier-Specific Volume Growth Targets
Maximizing Customer Visits/Calls
Logging, Creating, and Managing Opportunities in Delphi
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
Visit existing, new, and potential customers to understand:
Their business, products, processes, and markets.
Our current business relationship with them (if applicable).
Their product consumption to identify potential opportunities.
Any current, new, or future projects where our support could be beneficial.
Planning and Reporting:
Plan customer visits and send a daily or weekly itinerary to relevant team members.
Log existing customer consumption in Delphi.
Find and create new opportunities, logging and managing them in Delphi.
Relationship Management:
Develop long-term relationships with customers.
Collaborate with CSRs, TDEs, PMs, RSM, and SD to deliver the best service and proposals to customers.
Manage pricing effectively.
Understand and manage payment terms, performance, and credit-related topics.
Product and Sales Tools Proficiency:
Expand product knowledge by attending supplier and internal product training.
Fully embrace and strive for excellence in the use of Delphi.
Utilize other sales and information tools:
Power Bi
DMS
PIC
Pulse
SAGE reports
SharePoint
Lead Generation:
Proactively search for and identify new leads and potential new accounts.
Additional Responsibilities:
Attend and contribute to sales meetings and exhibitions as necessary.
Work Environment:
This is a remote-based role with the expectation that 3 days per week are spent on the road meeting multiple customers.
