Job Title: Junior Bridging Finance Underwriter (Mandarin is plus)
Location: London
Job Type: Hybrid working (4 days in-office, Fridays WFH).
Salary: 30,000-45,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Process & Assess - Evaluate new bridging loan applications and conduct credit analysis.
- Credit Proposals - Prepare detailed submissions for Credit Committee approval.
- Loan Documentation - Draft offer letters and ensure compliance during drawdown.
- Underwriting - Review and approve loans based on set criteria.
- Broker & Client Management - Handle case-related queries and manage expectations.
- Stakeholder Coordination - Work with internal teams (Legal, Risk, Sales) and external partners (surveyors, solicitors, clients) for seamless loan execution.
- Industry Experience Required - Must have proven background in bridging and/or development finance.
Key Requirements:
- Essential: Minimum 3 years' experience in bridging and/or development finance related lending.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess deals based on market, asset type, and security.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication.
