Joiner / Woodworker - Stoke-on-Trent

We're recruiting for a Joiner / Woodworker to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Stoke-on-Trent. This company produces a wide range of bespoke and standard furniture used in specialist environments across the globe.
You'll work in a modern, well-equipped production facility, contributing to the build and assembly of high-quality products made from MDF, solid wood, and laminated or veneered finishes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served woodworker or a competent furniture joiner looking for a long-term role in a supportive team.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and assemble bespoke furniture and gaming products from MDF and solid materials
Work from technical drawings and specifications provided by the design team
Hand-finish, veneer, laminate, and install components with care and attention to detail
Use a variety of woodworking tools, machines, and jigs safely and efficiently
Collaborate with the production team to ensure quality and deadlines are met
Maintain a clean, organised workspace and follow health and safety procedures
Assist in prototyping or custom builds as required
Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on materials or processes
Proven experience in joinery, woodworking in an industrial / manufacturing environment
Skilled in working with MDF, veneers, laminates, and solid wood
Comfortable using woodworking hand tools, power tools, and saws
Ability to interpret and work from drawings, diagrams, or cutting lists
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
Able to work independently and as part of a production team
Experience in bespoke or one-off builds is highly desirable
A positive, can-do attitude with pride in your craft
