Joiner / Woodworker - Stoke-on-Trent

The Opportunity

We're recruiting for a Joiner / Woodworker to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Stoke-on-Trent. This company produces a wide range of bespoke and standard furniture used in specialist environments across the globe.

You'll work in a modern, well-equipped production facility, contributing to the build and assembly of high-quality products made from MDF, solid wood, and laminated or veneered finishes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served woodworker or a competent furniture joiner looking for a long-term role in a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and assemble bespoke furniture and gaming products from MDF and solid materials

  • Work from technical drawings and specifications provided by the design team

  • Hand-finish, veneer, laminate, and install components with care and attention to detail

  • Use a variety of woodworking tools, machines, and jigs safely and efficiently

  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure quality and deadlines are met

  • Maintain a clean, organised workspace and follow health and safety procedures

  • Assist in prototyping or custom builds as required

  • Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on materials or processes

Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in joinery, woodworking in an industrial / manufacturing environment

  • Skilled in working with MDF, veneers, laminates, and solid wood

  • Comfortable using woodworking hand tools, power tools, and saws

  • Ability to interpret and work from drawings, diagrams, or cutting lists

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes

  • Able to work independently and as part of a production team

  • Experience in bespoke or one-off builds is highly desirable

  • A positive, can-do attitude with pride in your craft
