Approved Electrician – Pontefract
Location: Pontefract
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Adept Resourcing is working on behalf of a well-established organisation based in Pontefract to recruit an experienced and qualified Approved Electrician. This is a permanent role offering long-term career prospects, early finishes on Fridays, and a great team environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician to join a growing business in a role that offers both variety and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, inspect, and test electrical systems within an industrial setting
* Ensure compliance with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and other relevant standards
* Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications
* Accurately complete work reports and compliance documentation
* Work safely in line with health and safety regulations
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently
Requirements:
* City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
* 2391 Inspection, Testing & Certification (or equivalent)
* ECS Gold Card (preferred)
* Strong understanding of electrical regulations and workplace safety
* Ability to manage your own workload and work collaboratively
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 7am – 4pm (Early finish on Friday)
* 40 hours per week
* Business closes for Bank Holidays and during the Christmas/New Year period
