Hays Recruitment are working with an organisation based in Newcastle to recruit an IT Environment & Release Manager on a temporary basis. The Environment & Release Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning, scheduling, and execution of software deployments and releases within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities (Summary):
Manage release schedules, ensuring alignment with development, testing, and business readiness milestones.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure readiness for deployment
Define and enforce environment refresh strategies, data masking, and rollback procedures.
Maintain a centralised release calendar and environment usage matrix
Work closely with development, QA, operations, and business teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software
Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible
Develop and provide regular updates and reports on deployment progress and outcomes
Provide training and mentorship to team members on deployment best practices and tools
