Landgate School
Landgate is a school for learners aged 4-19 with Autism and/or communication and interaction conditions. We are a small school with huge impact, dedicated to improving outcomes for learners and their families in the Wigan borough and beyond. Oakfield High School and College
Oakfield is a School and College for learners aged 11-19 years with complex learning needs. The Aspire Federation will have four sites based in Hindley, Bryn, Abram and Leigh from September 2025. Please be advised that the post holder will be required to work across all of the federated sites.
The Role
The Aspire Federation are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and resilient Apprentice to provide IT Technical support to staff both inside and outside the classroom. The successful candidate will need to possess a strong desire to succeed in the IT environment whilst working in a school and college setting. They will work under the direction of the Senior Technical Officer in supporting the management of an extensive IT network. They will operate as part of the Technical team to support the wellbeing and development of the whole school in relation to the technical arrangements across the Aspire Federation.
They will Provide general support to staff and learners, including preparation, routine maintenance of resources/equipment and maintenance of security database of all ICT equipment.
