Are you ready to help shape the future of social housing through strategic investment and innovation? Were looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Investment Strategy Manager to lead on the development and delivery of our client's long-term asset investment strategy. This role is key to the planning and execution of the annual, 5-year, and 30-year investment programmes across housing and commercial stock driving improvements, modernisation, and sustainability.
As a senior leader in the Property and Assets team, youll be instrumental in embedding decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and fuel poverty strategies across the association, all while ensuring the journey to Net Zero by 2050 is on track. Your leadership will shape the future condition, value, and environmental performance of our homes and assets.
What youll be doing: Leading the development and management of the Asset Management Strategy, ensuring it aligns with corporate goals and sector regulations.

Planning future investments using robust data from the Asset Data team to support strategic, cost-effective decisions.

Managing the delivery of planned investment programmes including commercial property in compliance with WHQS and HHSRS standards.

Embedding PAS2035 methodologies into all asset investment and decarbonisation projects.

Driving cross-organisational collaboration to deliver all homes to Net Zero by 2050, and securing relevant external funding streams.

Overseeing regeneration schemes and asset disposals to maximise the performance and value of the portfolio.

Leading and developing a high-performing team, supporting Design Surveyors and the Asset Coordinator.

Key Requirements: Relevant HND/HNC qualification or equivalent.

CDM 2015 qualification and strong knowledge of current construction legislation.

Proven expertise in asset investment strategy and planning, particularly in a social housing or property-focused environment.

In-depth understanding of building defects, public procurement, and health & safety compliance.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, and property asset software (e.g., PIMSS).

Skilled in report writing, specification preparation, and performance analysis.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
