The Role
We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Internal Sales Representative to join our team. This office-based role is pivotal in supporting our external sales function and is designed as a fast-track path to a Specification Manager position. You will play a key role in managing incoming enquiries, generating new business opportunities, and supporting the sales process from first contact to secured orders.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound enquiries from architects, contractors, and developers.
Proactively generate new leads through outbound calling and follow-ups.
Qualify leads and manage CRM entries (Pipedrive).
Collaborate with external sales, logistics, and procurement teams.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through outstanding service.
Provide technical advice and support on our rainscreen systems.
Support marketing and business development initiatives where needed.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in internal sales, preferably in construction or building materials.
Confident and proactive in outbound calling and client outreach.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications is a plus.
Comfortable using CRM systems (Pipedrive experience a bonus).
Ambition to step into a client-facing external sales/specification role within 6–12 months.
