JOB TITLE: Interior Designer
RESPONSIBLE TO: Design Manager
HOURS OF WORK:
8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday (one hour for lunch),
8.30am – 12.45pm Friday
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and design-led manufacturer based near Hull, in the Beverley area. With a strong reputation for craftsmanship, innovation, and interior styling, the company is expanding its creative team and is now seeking both Junior and Senior Interior Designers to support the evolution of its product range.
These roles offer a unique chance to be part of a collaborative design department that plays a critical role in shaping the interiors and user experience of a range of high-end leisure and living spaces. You’ll be immersed in fast-paced projects from concept through to delivery, working with cross-functional teams and suppliers to bring fresh, commercially viable ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities

Create and develop interior design concepts, mood boards, and spatial layouts for new and existing models

Select and specify colour schemes, materials, soft furnishings, finishes, and fittings
*
Translate design briefs into working drawings using tools like AutoCAD and SketchUp
*
Conduct trend and market research to influence design direction and innovation
*
Collaborate closely with product development, engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams
*
Ensure design solutions are aligned with cost, quality, safety, and production requirements
*
Support product launches, showrooms, and internal reviews by preparing samples and displays
*
Attend supplier meetings and trade shows to stay up to date on materials and industry innovations
What We’re Looking For
Junior Designer:
*
Degree or equivalent in Interior Design, Spatial Design, or similar
*
A creative eye with strong awareness of trends, textures, and colour coordination
*
Ability to produce visualisations and layouts (SketchUp/AutoCAD ideal)
*
Good organisational and communication skills
*
Eagerness to learn in a collaborative, hands-on environment
Senior Designer:
*
Proven experience in interior or spatial design, ideally within a product or manufacturing setting
*
Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
*
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to lead on design concepts from brief to delivery
*
Confident working with suppliers, senior stakeholders, and production teams
*
Able to mentor junior designers and contribute to design strategy
