JOB TITLE - INTERIOR DESIGNER
Location: East Yorkshire Type: Permanent
Salary: £20,000 - £40,000 DOE.
Job Summary:
* This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of the interior design team for a well-established, reputable local business, where you would be responsible for managing projects from concept to completion.
Main Duties:
* Develop initial concepts and layouts.
* Material and colour scheme selection.
* Research current and future trends.
* Produce accurate working drawings of layouts/furniture for prototypes.
* Work closely with other departments and suppliers to ensure designs are on budget and suitable to be produced on the line.
* Attend trade shows and suppliers to gain inspiration and source new products and materials.
* Create idea boards to communicate design concepts.
Person Specification:
* Good 3D drawing and IT skills
* Ability to work as a team and individually.
* Excellent organisation and communication skills.
* Ideally experience with SketchUp and AutoCAD
* Experience or qualifications in spatial/interior design
