Installation Engineer

We are working with a leading bespoke engineering solutions provider to recruit an experienced Installation Engineer for an initial 3-month contract. This role will involve extensive on-site work and regular travel, with locations ranging from the UK and Europe to the US, depending on your availability and preferences.

Responsibilities:

Mechanical and fabrication-based installation of large, bespoke systems
Hooking up and testing hydraulic systems
Installation and assembly of heavy structural elements and piping
Working on-site across varying international locations
Interpreting engineering drawings and ensuring accurate, safe installation
Operating scissor lifts and other lifting equipment as requiredRequirements:

Proven experience with hydraulics systems and mechanical installation
Familiarity with scissor lifts and similar access equipment
Background in both electrical and mechanical engineering
Experience working with heavy structures, piping, and hydraulic integration
Physically capable of handling demanding installation work on-site
Willingness and flexibility to travel for extended site visitsPackage & Allowances:

£22 - £30 an hour
Travel, flights, and accommodation fully paid
£30 daily allowance (if staying in a B&B), £35 if not - applicable in the UK and Europe
$100 daily allowance when working in the US
All work is Outside IR35
