Installation & Commissioning Engineer

Installation & Commissioning Engineer – Staff – Salar + Benefits – Norfolk – International Travelling Opportunities

Our client is a leading design, build & installation company and they are seeking an Installation & Commissioning Engineer on a staff basis. You will mainly be based at their facility in Norfolk, but you will also have the opportunity to travel internationally to various customer sites.

Duties:
• Assist in the build of the equipment.
• Pre-commissioning the equipment and rectification of any faults found.
• Supervision of loading and unloading of the equipment.
• Supervision of moving, accurately positioning and fixing equipment.
• Complete electrical and mechanical connections and services (Air, water, electric, drainage and slip).
• Supervision of contractors or customers staff.
• Commissioning of supplied equipment and moulds.
• Equipment, mould and cycle optimisation.
• Overseas travel will be required.
• Preparation and customer handover of O&M manuals with customer training at site.
• Instruct customers in the operation, safety and maintenance.
• Administrative/office duties including customer contact, arranging travel requirements, and report writing.
• Provide on-site technical and remote customer assistance.

Experience & Qualification:
• Qualified in either Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
• Ideally experience of installation & commissioning of machinery, mechanical or electrical components.
• Able to travel internationally, and work away number of weeks at a time
