Infrastructure Architect / Engineer – Wintel/Linux - £85k – London
An Infrastructure Architect with a wide skillset across infrastructure technologies is needed for a key client based in London’s Canary Wharf. This role is a permanent position offering up to £85k plus bonus and benefits, and is offered on a hybrid working model requiring 2 days in the office
We are looking for an IT solutions architect or a Infrastructure Engineer ready for the step up, who has good knowledge across a variety of infrastructure technologies including: Server Infrastructure (windows/Linux), networking, Storage, security, and virtualisation. Currently the estate is on Prem but is scheduled to be moved up into the Cloud within 3-5 years.
This role reports directly the Head of Department and Fundamental for this role is the ability to step up as their deputy when required, reporting to the CIO.
Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal are thus a must have.
Key requirements
IT Architecture experience on broad Infrastructure projects
Good knowledge of variety of infrastructure technologies and environments.
Strong communication skills.
